Lindsey Slough Levee Rehabilitation Project Unit 1

The Lindsey Slough Levee Rehabilitation Project Unit 1, identified by solicitation number WA2025122, is managed by Reclamation District No. 536 in Solano County, California. The project involves the rehabilitation of 2,050 linear feet of landside levee slope along the right bank of Lindsey Slough to maintain levee integrity and provide long-term flood protection for the Egbert Tract. Key construction activities include the removal of aggregate base from approximately 850 feet of the levee crest, clearing and grubbing of 1.22 acres of oak trees, and the excavation of unsuitable materials. The levee embankment will be reconstructed to a 4:1 finish grade using a combination of imported and stockpiled fill, followed by the restoration of the levee crest and hydroseeding with native grasses. Additionally, the project requires the removal of a landside ramp and specific concrete structures at the levee toe.
