Local Democracy Reporting Platform Service

The British Broadcasting Corporation is seeking a value-for-money solution for the provision of Local Democracy Reporting Services platforms to support the Local News Partnership System. This procurement, identified as PROC 2026 73 SW LDRS, involves the implementation of a comprehensive suite of tools including an LDRS Authoring System for story creation and publishing workflows, an asset management system for storing and associating video, audio, and images, and a dedicated content portal for partner discovery and use. The contract is estimated at 1.3 million pounds excluding VAT, with a primary performance period from January 1, 2028, to December 31, 2030, and potential extensions of up to two additional years through December 31, 2032. The award will be determined via a competitive flexible procedure, with evaluation criteria weighted equally between quality and cost.
