Full Description
The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport (NUWCDIVNPT) intends to award a Firm Fixed Price type purchase order on a brand name only basis for Lockmaster parts as described below. Under Federal Specification FF-L-2890C, only two pedestrian door deadbolt devices are approved to meet both DoW Lock Program security criteria and local Fire Marshal life safety egress requirements. Procuring any other brand would result in highly restricted or nonexistent technical maintenance, severe replacement hardware delays, and duplicative replacement costs when those systems fail.
Qualified suppliers including authorized distributors only will be considered and must meet the Government’s minimum requirements detailed below. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency.
This procurement is a small business set aside, as concurred with by the NUWCDIVNPT Office of Small Business Program (OSBP).
All resellers shall provide proof of original equipment manufacturer (OEM) authorized reseller status.
See attached RFQ for further details.
