THIS SOLICITATION HAS BEEN CANCELLED.* This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for the requirement of lodging and conference space in accordance with the attached Statement of Work and Evaluation and Terms and Conditions in support of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Federal Protective Service (FPS) for the 2013 Presidential Inauguration. The solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ) # HSHQEH-13-Q-00004 and was prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12.6, associated references as it pertains to FAR Part 13 and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this effort is 721110- Hotels (except casino hotels) and Motels. The provisions at FAR 52.212-1, 52.212-2 and 52.212-3 and the clauses at FAR 52.212-4 and 52.212-5 are applicable. Responses are due no later than November 23, 2012 at 4:00pm Eastern Time. Submissions shall be made via email to Melissa.weindel@dhs.gov. Failure to submit a response by the time and date established may result in the quote not being considered. FPS reserves the right to consider quotes received after submission deadline at its discretion.
