The Spring Mountains National Recreation Area of the U.S. Forest Service is doing market research to get an idea of the numbers and types of general construction contractors who have the capabilitiy of perform the following construction project: Lovell Canyon Road Reconstruction - This project consists of reconstructing portions of the Lovell Canyon Road. Items of work include construction of (9) nine concrete low water crossings, excavation work to slope back a through cut section, embankment work to plug a breach in the drainage near one of the low water crossing sites, and embankment work to rebuild a failing berm which protects part of the road. We would like to get company information from interested contractors who are registered in the Central Contractors Register (CCR), and possess conventional bonding ability for construction jobs in the $1 Million - $5Million range.
