Per FAR 36.204, the disclosure of the construction magnitude for this project is between $1M-5M. Project Location: The Plant is located on the Savannah (Front) River and Back River on Hutchinson Island in Savannah, Ga. Project Description: The purpose of this project is to stabilize the discharge pipes at the Downriver Dissolved Oxygen Plant located on the Savannah (Front) River and Back River on Hutchinson Island in Savannah, Ga. The project will consist of complete burial of the discharge pipes by replacing sediment (lost due to scour) from areas under and near the existing discharge pipes with in-situ material. The contractor will be responsible for all surveys for the purposes of measuring cut and fill volumes to include hydrographic surveys. Minimum grades must be achieved. Front River Discharge Area: a 36-inch diameter stainless steel discharge pipe extends approximately 220-feet from the expansion joint located near STA 0+00 adjacent the plant to approximate STA 2+22 in the river. Eight helical pier anchors are near the scour hole and have been partially exposed.
