AI Contract Overview
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Bonneville Lock and Dam, has issued a Sources Sought notice to gauge industry interest and capabilities for supplying LTI Power Systems brand electrical equipment, specifically two 250A rectifiers/battery chargers and one 15kVA uninterruptible power supply (UPS)/inverter. This announcement is purely for market research and not a solicitation for bids or proposals, aiming to inform future acquisition decisions. Both large and small businesses, including various disadvantaged and veteran-owned small businesses, are encouraged to respond by the May 18, 2026 deadline with a capability statement outlining their ability to meet the requirements, including any limitations. The specified equipment includes LTI Power Systems ProUPS Industrial models: the LT3048HC rectifier/battery charger with a 250A DC output and 120VDC battery voltage, and the LT154848HD 15kVA UPS/Inverter providing 15kVA/12kW power. Both units require a 480VAC, 3-phase input and feature NEMA 1 enclosures with dimensions roughly 31.5” W x 65” H x 34” D. They are designed with clear varnish conformal coatings on circuit boards to protect against moisture and corrosion and operate with acoustical noise levels below 70 dBA at one meter. The UPS also includes an external manual bypass switch for maintenance flexibility. Interested parties must review the Performance Work Schedule thoroughly to understand the full scope of the requirement and submit responses accordingly to assist the government’s market assessment efforts.
