Full Description

The Directorate of Contracting (DOC), Fort Campbell, KY, has a requirement for Maintenance of Mail Metering Machine for Directorate of Information Management, Fort Campbell, KY. Equipment list is attached. The procurement will be conducted on a sole source basis in accordance with the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. The agency intends to enter into a firm-fixed-price purchase order with Pitney Bowes Corporation, Louisville KY. The basis for restricting competition is that Pitney Bowes is the sole manufacturer of these items. NAICS code for this procurement is 333298 and number of employees is 500. This sole source requirement will be procured under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition, and awarded on an unrestricted basis.
