The Office of Naval Investigation, Contracting Division (RMO3), 4251 Suitland Road, Washington DC 20395, intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). The proposed source is Planar Systems, Inc, 1195 NW Compton Way, Beaverton, OR 97006 and the service being acquired is the maintenance of a video wall system consisting of 10 each LM1200-70 Projection Cubes with Indisys Processing controls, manufactured by Clarity Visual Systems. Period of Performance is 26 Oct 2011 through 25 Oct 2012. It is believed that no other company can provide this maintenance support, to include repair parts. This notice is being published for information purposes only and is not a request for competitive quotations; however, any quotations received within 3 days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the Government. Firms may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement by submitting clear evidence of their capability to perform the requirement using factory authorized technicians and parts. This announcement constitutes the only notice. A determination by the government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
