Full Description

The USDA, National Finance Center is seeking maintenance support for its Automated Time Clock System, Applied Realtime Systems. The time system will include an upgrade of all software to their latest levels of Oracle Form, Iquest Software; and all reporting and communication releases. Contractor must be proficient with Oracle Relational Database 9, RS-232 communications, TCPIP protocols, network printing, NFS, Redhat Linux 9, and FTP operations. This is the annual maintenance renewal which is effective for the 2009 fiscal year with one base year and 2 option years. This is a sole source procurement because of the proprietary nature of the software. No solicitation is available. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. This notice of intent is not a request for offers. A determination not to compete this proposed procurement is solely within the discretion of the Government. All interested parties may express their interest to the Contracting Officer by the due date of this notice of intent by email, mail or fax. If an affirmative response to this request is not received, the Government plans to award this procurement to Infront Devices System, LLC., Covington, LA
