MET is a specialized full-time narcotics unit comprised of six dedicated RSO personnel to support large-scale eradication operations against illegal cannabis grows in Riverside County. Various commodities have a critical function during eradications of illegal cannabis cultivations. Personal protective equipment, such as heavy-duty socks and boots, serves as protection from thorned vegetation, insects, and sharp objects. Impact wrenches and air compressors are for vehicle/trailer tire repairs when working in remote areas on rough roads with frequent flat tires.
