Maritime Aquatics Facility Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting at the Maritime Center 10/6/2026 at 10:00AM

Delgado Community College is soliciting sealed lump-sum bids for the new construction of a Maritime Aquatics Facility located on its campus in New Orleans, Louisiana. The project scope includes the construction of a first responder river rescue training pool, a covered pool equipment pad, and a sidewalk connecting the new facility to the existing school building. An add alternate for two restrooms and showers is also included in the solicitation. A mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for October 6, 2026, at 10:00 AM at the Maritime and Industrial Training Center. All sealed bids must be submitted to the Delgado Community College Purchasing Office by the deadline of October 21, 2026, at 2:00 PM CST. To be considered for award, bidders must be licensed under LA. RS.37.2150-2192 for the classification of Building Construction and must clearly display their license number and certification on the bid envelope; failure to comply with this requirement will result in automatic rejection. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of five percent of the total bid, provided via certified check, cashier's check, or an approved bid bond. The successful contractor will also be required to furnish a performance bond and a labor and materials payment bond. The college reserves the right to reject any or all bids that are nonconforming, non-responsive, or conditional.
