Marshall Street WRF Sand Filter Rehabilitation

The Marshall Street WRF Sand Filter Rehabilitation project, solicitation number 25-0008-UT, involves the rehabilitation of twelve existing sand filters and their associated equipment. Key mechanical tasks include replacing seven Kinetrol pneumatic actuator yokes on 20-inch butterfly valves, sodium hypochlorite pumps, and associated piping. Conditional replacements may also be required for flange bolts on the backwash inlet butterfly valve and two 18-inch backwash pump discharge check valves, depending on contractor verification of valve function and flow rates. Technological upgrades include replacing the main filter control panel touch screen with improved graphics and enhancing the SCADA interface to allow for total local control of the filtration system.
