Matheson Island Launch Ramp

The project involves the reconstruction of the existing boat launch ramp on Matheson Island, Manitoba, located approximately 240 kilometers north of Winnipeg, accessible via MB 8 and PR 234 with ferry or winter ice road access. The scope includes the demolition and removal of twenty pre-cast concrete launch ramp pads and their disposal at approved facilities, followed by excavation, grading, and preparation of the launch ramp footprint. The new ramp system will consist of fifty-seven pre-cast concrete pads installed on a prepared granular sub-base and base, with geotextile material and rip-rap placement also required.
