MBR National Forest Site Preparation

The Medicine Bow-Routt National Forest is planning to release a Request for Proposal for site preparation services aimed at forest management and maintenance. The services required include piling slash using dozer-type machines equipped with brush blades or comparable equipment, soil scarification, mechanical removal of brush and slash, and cutting and treating small, diseased, or poorly formed pine trees. These tasks will be performed using contractor-supplied and operated machinery across the Brush Creek/Hayden and Laramie Ranger Districts within the Medicine Bow-Routt National Forests. The contract is designated as a total small business set-aside under NAICS code 115310 and is expected to have a performance period from mid-June to the end of October 2023. The solicitation was tentatively scheduled to be posted in late March 2023, with the contract managed by the Department of Agriculture’s Medicine Bow-Routt National Forest office located in Laramie, Wyoming.
