MDP 2025-02 Best RV Center (Storage)

The City of Turlock has issued Minor Discretionary Permit 2025-02 for the development of a 10-acre parcel located at 1808 N Tegner Rd, Stanislaus County APN 088-031-001. The project involves the construction of an RV Storage Center featuring 265 open-air RV parking spaces and 6 standard parking spaces. Site improvements include a 120-square-foot security guard booth, asphalt and concrete paving, striping, landscaping, and the installation of an 8-foot high electrified security fence. Additionally, the project requires offsite improvements consisting of the installation of curb, gutter, and sidewalk along Tegner Road. The project was approved on August 8, 2025, following a review under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA). A Mitigated Negative Declaration was prepared, certifying that the project will not have significant environmental effects provided that specific mitigation measures and the adopted Mitigation Monitoring Plan are implemented. The development is consistent with the Turlock General Plan EIR and the Northwest Triangle Specific Plan MEIR. Naiel Ammari is the project applicant, and the City of Turlock Planning Division serves as the lead agency for oversight and final acceptance.
