Medical oxygen cylinder rentals and refills for Paramedic Services

The Regional Municipality of Durham has issued Request for Tender T-190-2026 for the supply, delivery, rental, maintenance, and refilling of aluminum medical oxygen cylinders to support Paramedic Services across twelve response stations. All cylinders must be Transport Canada approved and comply with CSA Standard B339, while oxygen contents must meet Health Canada Good Manufacturing Practices. Key operational requirements include weekly routine deliveries and a 24/7 emergency response capability with a six-hour delivery window. Eligibility is restricted to bidders who are not U.S. businesses without full-time Canadian employees, and subcontracting is strictly prohibited. Insurance requirements include Commercial General Liability of 5 million dollars and Auto liability of 2 million dollars.
