THIS IS ALSO TO NOTIFY FUTURE PROSPECTIVE CONTRACTORS TO LET US KNOW IF THEY ARE INTERESTED IN SIMILAR FUTURE SOLICITATIONS. ANNOUNCEMENT: WALTER REED NATIONAL MILITARY MEDICAL CENTER (WRNMMC) ACQUISITIION MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT, BETHESDA, MD ON BEHALF OF THE CLINICS AND DIVISIONS OF WRNMMC, IS ISSUING THIS NOTICE OF AWARD OF PROCURNMENT CONSIDERING BEST VALUE AND PRICE AS DETERMINING FACTORS. THE CONTRACTS AWARD ARE MADE, (OVER A GIVEN BLOCK OF TIME AS URGENT NEEDS OCCURE) TO ST JUDE $29,745.00, MEDTRONIC $43,096.00,DIRTT $64,777.07,MEDTRONIC $46,507.00, A P XPRESS MEDICAL TRANSPORTATION $33,300.00, AND MEDTRONIC $33,607.00, THE AWARD ARE MADE UNDER URGENT AND COMPELLING CIRCUMSTANCES FOR EQUIPMENT SERVICES AND SURGICAL RELATED SUPPLIES. THE AWARDS ARE MADE CONSIDERING THE BEST INTEREST OF THE GOVERNMENT USING BEST VALUE AS PRIMARILY (AS AS IN QUALITY, IMMEDIATE DELIVERY,ENVIRONMENTAL AND SYSTEM FIT, MAINTAINING EQUIPMENT OPERATIONLAN STANDARD AND COMPATABILITY) AND PRICE AS SECONDARY FACTOR OF AWARD. THEREFORE, THIS IS A NOTICE OF AWARD AND NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETIVE PRICE QUOTE (RFQ). THE NEED HAS BEEN MET. ANY RESPONSE TO THIS NOICE IS SOLELY WITHIN THE DISCRETION OF THE GOVERNMENT. THE CONTRACT AWARD IS MADE USING SAP.UNDER THE AUTHORITY OF FAR 6.301 WITH URGENT AND COMPELLING CIRCUMSTANCES ONLY ONE RESPONSIBLE SOURCE WERE DETERMINED THAT WOULD MEET AND SATISFY AGENCY REQUIREMENTS.END OF ANNOUNCEMENT.
