Military Packaging and Marking Services

The contract requires the provision of military packaging and marking services in full compliance with MIL-STD-2073-1E standards for the preservation, packaging, labeling, and conditioning of defense-related shipments. This includes adhering to all technical specifications for material handling, environmental protection, and long-term storage integrity to ensure equipment readiness and durability during transit and storage. The contractor must also implement MIL-STD-129 marking requirements, ensuring accurate and uniform labeling of all packages, containers, and units with required barcodes, data elements, and identification codes to support logistics tracking and inventory management. Additionally, the contractor is responsible for the timely and accurate submission of unique item identification (UID) data in accordance with DoD requirements, ensuring each item is properly registered in the DoD UID database. All services must be performed to support Defense Logistics Agency operations across global supply chains, with performance obligations extending to any location where defense shipments are processed, packed, or dispatched.
