Full Description

GENERAL: Olathe Public Schools (or the "District") is accepting bids for Milk Based Products and 100% Juice for the District lunchroom programs, including summer meals. The initial term of the agreement will be for the 2025-2026 school year with the options to renew annually for four (4) additional one (1) year terms. Bidders (also herein referred to as "Contractors" or "Vendors") will execute and submit all bids in accordance with the attached RFB Instructions & Terms and Conditions.
SCOPE OF WORK: Vendor to deliver milk and juice products as specified and awarded to fifty-six (56) school sites by 7 a.m. daily. Coolers are provided by the District. Sites include: · Five (5) senior high schools · Ten (10) middle schools · Thirty-six (36) elementary schools · Three (3) early childhood/alternative education · Two (2) partner schools Additionally, the Food Production Center will receive deliveries on an as needed basis.
The District expects to do business with a highly reputable vendor with a proven performance record. Olathe Public Schools intends to award to a vendor in which their business is either located within the Kansas City Metro area, or has a local office within the Kansas City Metro area, AND is capable of meeting daily delivery expectations.
SPECIFICATIONS:
Bidders are instructed to download RFB 25-016 Instructions & Terms and Conditions for detailed specifications and other bid requirements.
PRICING: Bidders will bid using escalating pricing on the approximate usage levels as indicated in RFB 25-016 Instructions & Terms and Conditions Section 3. Bidder shall provide the formula used to calculate the escalating bid by scanning and uploading as an attachment to the Response Attachments tab. This is an ALL OR NOTHING Bid. It is the intent of the District to award to one vendor. Award is subject to approval by the Board of Education on May 1st, 2025. QUESTIONS: Any questions should be posted directly in the Questions section of this solicitation. The question cut off is April 14, 2025 at 5:00 PM CST. SUBMISSION OF BIDS: Sealed electronic bids for Milk Based Products and 100% Juice will be received until 2:00 PM CST on April 18, 2025 at which time the responses will be unsealed/opened. Submission of electronic responses after the specified Due Date/Time are not possible. Bids of any other format received after the exact time specified for receipt will not be considered.
