The MK 41 VLS Canister Production Industry Day is scheduled from 17 Aug – 19 Aug 2026 commencing each day at 0900 Pacific Time at the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC), Port Hueneme Division (PHD), Port Hueneme, CA, Building 1386.


The Industry Day will consist of a consolidated general session (Day 1) on 17 Aug 2026 with all interested industry participants. At the conclusion of the main session, the Navy intends to provide interested industry participants an opportunity to view the VLS Canisters and discuss technical questions with MK 41 VLS Canister Subject Matter Experts. The Government will also host private one-on-one sessions with for interested parties.


Interested parties are required to RSVP for Industry Day by close of business on 17 July 2026 by filling out the MK 41 VLS Canister Production Industry Day Request Form via e-mail to:

The RSVP email shall include the following subject line: "NAVSEA MK 41 VLS Canister Industry Day RSVP” and include the completed MK 41 VLS Canister Production Industry Day Request Form. Interested parties are limited to six (6) attendees per respondent. Formal presentations are not required and recording devices are not permitted.


If you do not have a CAC, you are required to notify Ms. Bonnie Nguyen, the meeting POC (whom will need to sponsor you on the base; contact info above) and complete SECNAV 5512-1 (see attached form). Completed SECNAV 5512-1 must be submitted to the meeting POC by 27 July 2026 and bring it with you to the Pass and ID Office (located in BLDG 1183 adjacent to the Sunkist Gate). Vehicles are subject to search and inspection.
