Mobile Cleanroom

The Department of National Defence is soliciting the design, manufacture, and delivery of one ISO maritime container-based mobile cleanroom to be delivered to the Aerospace and Telecommunications Engineering Support Squadron at 8 Wing, Trenton, Canada. This self-contained, mobile facility must be engineered as a Class B oxygen cleaning environment capable of full-cycle Naval Oxygen Cleaner operations in accordance with MIL-STD-1330E. The scope of work encompasses all necessary environmental systems, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life safety systems, with the contractor bearing an absolute obligation of result to ensure the facility is operationally autonomous. While typically based on a High Cube ISO container, a 53-foot container may be used if required to maintain classified space. The contract will be awarded to the responsive bidder offering the lowest overall evaluated price. Mandatory technical qualifications include at least ten years of experience in ISO container-based modular systems and eight years of experience in NOC oxygen cleaning. The facility must undergo rigorous inspection and acceptance, including Factory Acceptance Testing, Site Acceptance Testing, and third-party ISO 14644 cleanroom certification. Delivery is expected approximately 32 weeks after drawing approval on a Delivery Duty Paid basis. Although an eight-hour introductory indoctrination session is required, the training and associated documentation will be negotiated under a separate contract.
