Note: This requirement is set-aside exclusively for SeaPort NXG Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) concerns under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 541330-1: Military and Aerospace Equipment and Military Weapons.
This is a solicitation prepared in accordance with the Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract ordering procedures in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 16.5: Indefinite-Delivery Contracts. The Government intends to award a single-award, Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) contract for the effort as outlined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS) in the solicitation. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Proposals are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued.
Services are needed to deliver comprehensive support for conventional ordnance to all units under Commander, Naval Air Forces (COMNAVAIRFORCES), which include providing Intermediate-Level (I-level) training and logistics, managing weapons life cycles, and administering qualification and certification programs. This will be a Mobile Ordnance Training Team (MOTT) that consists of two teams: one physically located in San Diego, CA providing support to the Pacific Fleet (PACFLEET) commands, and another to be in Norfolk, VA providing support to the Atlantic Fleet (LANTFLEET) commands.
