The Water Well and Booster Station Equipment upgrade will replace equipment that has reached the end of it useful life at the Mojave Fish Hatchery. The project activities include:
Remove the existing propane tank and associated concrete pad;
remove, grade to existing, and replace the 2 wide by 70 long gravel road;
remove, grading to existing, and replace 2 wide by 72 asphalt pavement
remove existing bollards
Excavate approximately 20 by 8-2 by 24 to construct a new concrete pad,
Excavate utility trench to remove the existing natural gas line and install new electrical lines, then backfill the approximately 372 long and 3 deep and install 4 new bollards.
Install new G-W9, 450KW generator.
Install new master control panel.
Replace 7 turbine pumps and the associated electrical and mechanical components
