Montgomery County Dept. of Public Safety Emergency Operations Center Carpeting

The Montgomery County Department of Public Safety is soliciting a qualified contractor for solicitation number 6620 to perform carpeting services at the Eagleville Emergency Operations Center (EOC) located at 50 Eagleville Rd., Eagleville, PA. The scope of work involves removing existing carpet from raised floor access panels, hallways, and office areas, and installing new Static Smart Discovery Series carpet. Specific requirements include approximately 262 square yards of Galileo color carpet for the EOC area, 215 square yards for the hallway and technical services area, and 253 square yards for the media room, QA/QI area, offices, and hallways. Because the EOC is a 24-hour facility, all work must be coordinated with EOC management and performed during business hours. The contractor is also responsible for moving and returning furniture that obstructs the work area on a daily basis. This construction contract is governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the Court of Common Pleas of Montgomery County, and it may be subject to the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. Award decisions will be based on the County's best interest, considering price, delivery time, experience, and past performance. Payment is issued for satisfactorily completed work, with interest applied if payment is not made within 45 days, and contractors must pay subcontractors within 14 days of receiving progress payments. Bidders must submit a comprehensive proposal through the Montgomery County Procurement Portal, including a cost proposal, W-9, and various certifications regarding business status, organizational conflicts of interest, and responsible contractor status.
