This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12.  This announcement constitutes the only solicitation.  Quotations are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. 



Solicitation number 1240B26Q0101 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for Insect Taxonomy Support



This acquisition  is set-aside for small business concerns.  The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 541990  All Other Professional, Scientific and Technical Services business size standard is $19.5   This acquisition is an unrestricted requirement.   All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency. 



Purpose:


USDA Forest Health Protection is requesting an identification service contract with option years to support the Morgantown Field Office forest health staff with bark beetles, ambrosia beetles, and pollinators identification during the field season.  The taxonomist will provide identifications to ensure that field forest health staff are able to provide the most accurate data to land managers.
