Mouth of Cottonwood Creek Wildlife Area (MCCWA) House Demolition and Removal

The California Department of Fish and Wildlife is seeking a contractor for the demolition and removal of an abandoned residential property and associated structures located at the Mouth of Cottonwood Creek Wildlife Area at 22231 Adobe Road in Shasta County. The scope of work includes the demolition of an approximately 1,900 square foot house, a 900 square foot storage shed, a covered patio area, and a small portable shed. Additionally, the contractor must remove all concrete foundations, patios, and sidewalks. The project requires the decommissioning of site utilities, specifically the disconnection, capping, or disabling of an existing well and septic system. Following the excavation and removal of the septic system, the contractor is responsible for regrading the affected area. This project is categorized as exempt under California Code of Regulations Title 14, section 15301, Class 1.
