Moving Services

This solicitation, RFQ 20158569, is for a BPA call order to provide moving services for the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Area Port of San Francisco. The contractor will be responsible for packing, moving, and unpacking a variety of items, including office supplies, furniture, electronic equipment, and steel security safes weighing up to 1,000 lbs, across multiple sites in the San Francisco Bay Area. These locations include the US Custom House, the Seized Property Vault, and various international airports and trade hubs. Additionally, the contractor is responsible for the disposal of damaged or scrap materials at local landfills, excluding hazardous materials. The period of performance runs from September 30, 2026, through September 29, 2031, consisting of a base year and four option years. To be eligible, the contractor must be located within 50 miles of the service location with a maximum travel time of two hours. The contractor is required to provide all necessary packing materials, moving equipment, and floor protection to prevent facility damage, and must provide a written guarantee of reimbursement for any loss or damage to goods. Personnel must be legally eligible to work in the U.S., maintain a non-felonious criminal record, and pass specific background checks for access to SFO and other federal sites. All work must be performed under the constant supervision of a government escort during standard business hours, typically Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
