THE SOLICITATION IS AMENDED TO ADD A SITE VISIT THIS WEDNESDAY 8/26/26 FOR 1 HOUR WINDOW FROM 10:00 AM TO 11:00 AM. ALL ELSE REMAINS THE SAME. THERE IS MORE INFORMATION ON THE ATTACHED AMENDMENT.
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested, and a separate written solicitation will not be issued.
This contract involves the supply and installation of a replacement (single phase power) complete Heat pump system at Mount St Helens National Volcanic Monument Ranger District Office located in Amboy, WA. The existing HVAC system in place will need to be removed and disposed of (off site and off Forest Service Property) by the contractor. The current system is a has failed and needs replacement. Pictures are in the attachment. The contractor shall provide all labor and materials to replace the HVAC system along with all electrical connections by a license electrician. All work shall be performed in accordance with all applicable codes, and standards (OSHA, NEC, NFPA, ASHRAE).
The contractor will replace the old unit with new units and make all necessary electrical connections to make the new units work. All units will be tested by the contractor. All electrical work is included in the quote.
Amboy, WA routinely sees sustained winter temperatures below 25 degrees Fahrenheit. The replacement HVAC system must operate efficiently below 25 degrees. Emergency or electric strip heating is not allowed to be the sole source to achieve operations in these temperatures.
