The Ministry of Agriculture and Food's Business Risk Management Branch is inviting suppliers to submit responses to a Multi-Use List Request for Qualifications (MULRFQ) to become qualified providers of production insurance claims adjusting services specifically for tree fruit and grape crops. Qualified suppliers will be placed on a Multi-Use List and can be asked on a non-exclusive, as-needed basis to compete for contracts to perform crop loss adjusting and inspection services in various regions of British Columbia, including the South Okanagan, Similkameen Valley, Okanagan Valley, Grand Forks, Creston Valley, Thompson Nicola, Kootenays, Vancouver Island, and Fraser Valley. The contracts awarded may be for one or multiple years, and the volume of work will depend on the number of growers and loss events during the crop season extending from April 1 to November 30. Suppliers must demonstrate the capability to conduct detailed field inspections and assessments related to crop damage, causes of loss, yield estimation, quality loss sampling, and crop volume measurement. The role also involves evaluating crop health, management practices, and eligibility for insurance programs. Only qualified suppliers and their proposed key personnel will be eligible to receive and respond to subsequent competition notices for specific assignments under this program. Interested suppliers are encouraged to carefully review the full requirements and submit their qualification responses by the specified deadline. Contact for this solicitation is provided for any inquiries, and all relevant information is accessible through the Government of Canada's tendering portal.
