Multistack Chillers (Air Cooled), Associated Motor Starters

The US Embassy in Maputo is soliciting quotations for a firm fixed price IDIQ contract to provide preventive maintenance services for air-cooled Multistack Chiller systems, including associated motor starters, VFDs, and electronic panels, at the New US Embassy Compound in Maputo, Mozambique. The scope of work involves regular inspections, adjustments, and the supply and replacement of expendable parts such as filters, belts, and coolants to ensure the systems remain in safe and efficient operating condition. The contract consists of a one-year base period with four optional one-year extensions. While preventive maintenance is covered under the fixed price, hardware replacements and repairs will be handled via separate purchase orders based on provided hourly labor rates. The government will award the contract to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offeror who is a responsible contractor and a Cleared American Service Provider. Evaluation criteria include a compliance review, technical acceptability based on past performance and experience, and a total price evaluation including all options. Offerors must be registered in SAM and provide comprehensive documentation, including a technical approach, work plan, financial statements for the past three years, and proof of a permanent business presence in Mozambique. Performance is monitored by the Contracting Officer's Representative, with a quality standard limiting customer complaints to no more than one per month. Quotations are due by October 14, 2026.
