The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed and issued Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement (EPIMS-RIV-61424-R6), pursuant to Fish and Game Code section 1602, to the Project Applicant, Jerry Aguirre (Riverside County Flood Control and Water Conservation District).
The Project is limited to the routine maintenance of Murrieta Creek. The notification only covers the maintenance of the Phase 2A Project.
Maintenance Description: Channel operation and maintenance will consist of inspections, maintenance, and repairs to channel side slopes (Soil Cement Slopes and Vegetated Slopes), Side Drains and Side Drain Access areas, Grade Control Structures, and Maintenance Roads. Maintenance will also include vegetation management and sediment removal within the Regularly Maintained Area along the channel bottom.
Equipment needed for maintenance of the creek channel may include, but is not limited to, the following equipment types: dozers, scrapers, graders, loaders, pickup trucks, water trucks, flatbed trucks, excavators, dump trucks, rubber-tracked mowers, bobcats, agricultural tractors, and skid steer loaders.
