The Naval Supply Information Systems Command (NAVSISA) and the Naval Inventory Control Point (NAVICP) plan to issue a sole source purchase order to Loyola Enterprises, Inc. for legacy support services. This contract involves providing contractor support for Legacy Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), and application servers specifically for NAVSISA, ensuring continued operation and maintenance of these critical systems. The procurement will be executed using Simplified Acquisition Procedures under the Request for Quotation (RFQ) N00104-07-Q-Q046, reflecting the government's intention to award a contract without a competitive bidding process due to the sole source nature of the requirement. The contract is managed under the Department of Defense’s Naval Supply Weapon Systems Support office located in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. The official point of contact for this acquisition is Marsha L. Williams, Senior Contract Specialist at the Naval Inventory Control Point in Mechanicsburg. The agreement focuses on maintaining legacy network infrastructure vital to NAVSISA operations and emphasizes efficiency and continuity through the use of an established contractor familiar with these systems.
