Solicitation # FA2541-26-008
The United States Space Force Commercial Satellite Communications Office (CSCO) has issued a forecast to industry outlining anticipated requirements for Fiscal Years 2026-2027. This memorandum is intended for planning purposes to assist industry in preparing for potential future Requests for Proposals and Requests for Quotes. The forecasted requirements fall under the Future COMSATCOM Services Acquisition (FCSA) and are categorized into three primary service areas: COMSATCOM Transponded Capacity (CTC) for satellite bandwidth and power, COMSATCOM Subscription Services (CSS) for fixed or mobile satellite services, and Complex Commercial SATCOM Solutions (CS3) for large-scale, custom integrated solutions. Specific anticipated requirements include Ku-band capacity for AFCENT ISR support, managed Ku and Ka band services for Global AISR operations, and an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) for Iridium-certified equipment and 24/7/365 help desk support. Additionally, the forecast includes MGEO orbit satellite services involving spacecraft operation and terrestrial backhaul. Certain requirements, such as CS30025, are expected to involve a one-year base period with four one-year options and must provide communications services anywhere in the world within a secure, zero-fail environment.
