The Strategic Systems Programs has issued a contract with The Boeing Company, 5301 Bolsa Avenue, Huntington Beach, CA to provide the following efforts for the TRIDENT II (D5) Navigation Subsystem: (1) engineering support services and problem investigations for US and UK owned Electrostatically Supported Gyro Navigator (ESGN) navigation inertial instruments and equipment and Fleet documentation, (2) modification, refurbishment, and repair of US and UK ESGN instruments and equipment, (3) US and UK refurbishment of stable platform housing (SPH) and SPH support items including overhaul kits, (4) Common Missile Compartment support, and (5) Ohio Class SSBN Engineered Refueling Overhauls. The contract will contain both United States and United Kingdom sponsored efforts for FY17 and options for FY18 efforts. Award was made using other than full and open competition to Boeing of Huntington Beach, CA.
