Additionally, the physical servers supporting BusinessObjects Enterprise Professional/BusinessObjects Web Intelligence are being virtualized, and the fifth CPU licenses for BusinessObjects Enterprise Professional and BusinessObjects Web Intelligence will include virtualization rights for all of NIST's CPU licenses. Unlimited SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise Professional and SAP BusinessObjects Web Intelligence CPU based licenses at NIST for a Development environment at no additional cost b. Unlimited SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise Professional and SAP BusinessObjects Web Intelligence CPU based licenses at NIST for a Test environment at no additional cost c. Virtualization rights for all SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise Professional and SAP BusinessObjects Web Intelligence CPU based licenses at no additional cost. These licenses consist of: previously purchased four (4) CPU licenses for SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise Professional and four (4) CPU licenses for SAP BusinessObjects Web Intelligence; and this new purchase of one (1) CPU of SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise Professional and one (1) CPU license for SAP BusinessObjects Web Intelligence. Delivery Terms Delivery terms shall be FOB Destination, and take place in accordance with Contractor's commercial schedule. The contractor shall deliver line item 0001 to NIST, Building 301, Shipping and Receiving, Gaithersburg, MD 20899-1640. Building 215 Clean Room HEPA Filter Replacement
Solicitation # RFI-195000-26-00181
The National Institute of Standards and Technology is conducting market research through a Request for Information for the Building 215 Advanced Measurement Laboratory cleanroom repair and HEPA filter replacement project in Gaithersburg, Maryland. This initiative follows a previous solicitation that failed to produce an acceptable offer, prompting NIST to reassess its acquisition strategy and seek industry feedback on constructability, cost, and schedule feasibility. The project scope involves the modernization of an 1,800 square meter facility, including the replacement of approximately 1,200 HEPA filters, 70 VAV terminal units, and 54 airflow monitoring devices, as well as the installation of 32 exhaust air control valves and associated ductwork repairs, testing, and recertification. A critical component of the project is the proposed phasing plan, which aims to minimize research disruptions by utilizing 19 construction phases, including 18 critical cleanroom outage phases. Each critical outage is currently envisioned as a nine-day window starting Friday evening and requiring 24/7 operations to achieve ready-for-re-occupancy by the following Monday morning. NIST is specifically requesting rough-order-of-magnitude cost estimates and industry input on whether this aggressive outage schedule is realistic or if it creates prohibitive risks and costs. Responses, including company experience and recommendations for improving competition and project execution, are due by October 14, 2026.
