Full Description
The United States Department of Agriculture, Farm Production and Conservation (FPAC) intends to acquire on a Sole Source basis to Trans Works, 6000 S 58th St, Ste A, Lincoln, NE 68516 for HPRTK Network Subscription.
USDA FPAC-NRCS Nebraska State Office, Engineering Section, has a need to purchase 43 Network Real Time Kinematic (Network RTK) GPS surveying service subscriptions. Using network RTK service, NRCS technicians in the field can receive GPS position data that is immediately “corrected” (geo-referenced), in real time, to match Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR) ground surface positions. This “on-the-fly” capability results in significant time savings, fewer survey processing errors, and enhanced field layout productivity. No other authorized contractors are available to provide the equipment and services needed.
The resulting procurement will be conducted in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 13. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS/QUOTES. Responsible sources may submit a capability statement in response to this requirement, which shall be considered by the Agency. Capability statements must be received by 12:00pm ET, May 01, 2026 and shall include documentation on the ability to satisfy the Government’s requirements. A determination by the Government not to compete based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Questions concerning this notice may be directed to Holly Votruba, Contract Officer, holly.votruba@usda.gov.
