This notice is a synopsis of proposed contract action in accordance with FAR 5.2 that the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals or quotations and a competitive solicitation will not be issued for this requirement. US Army Contracting Command - Rock Island (ACC-RI) intends to issue contract W52P1J-16-C-0004 on a sole source basis to VAE, Inc. under the authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy Agency requirements. This contract is to provide for the Network Modernization - Survey, Engineering, and Implementation Services (NETMOD- SEI) to support modernization and upgrade of Installation Campus Area Networks (ICAN) across Continental United States (CONUS). The proposed RFP will result in a three (3) year contract. IAW FAR 5.207(c)(16)(ii) All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. The anticipated award date is no later than 15 December 2015. The Period of performance is anticipated to be 16 December 2015 through 15 December 2018. The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this synopsis. The Government is not obligated to and will not pay for any information received as a result of this synopsis.
