The objective of the NFA UAS Basic Remote Pilot Program R0741 is to develop a nationally credentialed, all-hazard UAS pilot workforce among state, local, tribal, and territorial fire service first responders. By delivering a standardized 40-hour curriculum across geographically diverse regions, the program aims to equip participants with essential UAS operational skills, federal proficiency standards, and practical airspace communication capabilities.
