Full Description
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) requires construction services to perform a roof replacement within the Biology Compound at Bitter Lake National Wildlife Refuge, Roswell, New Mexico. The project requires removal of approximately 2,863 square feet of the existing built up roof on the historic 1937 CCC constructed Biology Building and installation of a new fleece back membrane roofing system with all required flashings, terminations, penetrations, and accessories. All work shall maintain and protect the historic integrity of the structure.
The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, and supervision necessary to complete the project.
All work shall be accomplished in accordance with the provisions of the FWS contract and the attached documents.
The Government intends to award a single, Firm-Fixed-Price contract. Award selection will be made on a Best Value basis after consideration of price and factors other than price (Technical and Past Performance) as listed in the Request for Quotation (RFQ)/Solicitation.
