This TF-1 is being submitted by NAVFAC UEM Engineering to request a Scope of Work, Government Estimate, 1391 and design package for the replacement of Distribution station IX. This an FY'26 project. The is part of the 11.5kV electrical distribution system. Distribution XI supply buildings 171, 268, 297, 1500 and 1618/ECC. Distribution XI was originally programmed to be replaced as part of the P-732 MILCON. Due to the deteriorated condition of the switchgear and the uncertainty of the future funding for P-732, PWD Portsmouth needs to move forward with a stand alone project to replace the switchgear. The new design should demo the existing foundations, install new elevated concrete pad and install two (2) new pad-mounted gas switches in the same location. This will require re-feeding all loads temporarily. MAXIMO pre-award GR73CS.
