The Naval Air Systems Command awarded an Undefinitized Contract Action for non-recurring engineering with ITT Corporation, Clifton, New Jersey for development of an Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) for the ALQ-214 On-Board Jammer system currently deployed on the F/A-18E/F aircraft. This effort was awarded on a sole source basis to ITT Corporation, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 because ITT is the sole designer, developer, and manufacturer of the AN/ALQ-214(V)3 subsystem and is the only firm that can provide these services within the required time frames and cost limitations.
