Scope: PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of NORCO, as AGENCY, invites bids for the above stated project and will receive such bids on the City of Norco’s Bid and Vendor Portal, www.norco.ca.us/bid until February 10, 2026, at 10 a.m.
The work includes furnishing all materials, equipment, tools, labor, and incidental items necessary to complete the project in accordance with the Plans, Specifications, and Contract Documents. The general scope for the Norco Fire Station 47 HVAC Replacement includes providing all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary to remove the existing HVAC system and install a new, high-efficiency system while maintaining continuous station operations.
The contractor shall handle mobilization, permitting, inspections, and as-built documentation, as well as perform testing, adjusting, and balancing (TAB), BIM clash detection, and full commissioning to ensure compliance with design specifications. Work includes selective demolition of roofing for structural modifications, removal of existing HVAC units, ductwork, thermostats, refrigerant and condensate piping, and gas piping. Structural tasks involve installing a new wood beam and equipment platform, reframing roof openings, and repairing roofing penetrations.
