NORFNSA-CA10 - Move Wall

OPTEV requires a wall approximately 89 inches long, 107 inches tall to be removed and the same type and size wall be constructed approx. 6’ away. Wall is on the 3rd floor and separates an office area from a common area. This is not a load bearing wall. Office Area- OPTEV will remove the 2 NMCI and landline cables to phone jacks as well as dry erase board. Fire extinguisher to be relocated. No phone lines required in new wall. At least one receptacle is requested or as code requires. Reuse cove base or match to the rest of the room. On opposite wall, change out 3” cove base for 5” cove base to match the rest of the room. Common Area- No phone jacks or receptacles are requested. New wall to be constructed of 16 gauge steel studs, 1/2 inch drywall, from floor to drop ceiling, the wall will be approximately 89 inches long, 107 inches tall. Wall to be sheetrock and finished to accept paint. Paint will be flat white BEHR paint. Two coats to be applied. New 5” cove base to match rest of area or reuse current if possible. Customer has carpet squares to be installed once wall is removed. This is required to create more usable storage space within the admin space.
