The North Carolina Department of Natural and Cultural Resources, through its Division of Parks and Recreation, is soliciting sealed lump sum proposals for improvements at Kerr Lake State Recreation Area, specifically targeting upgrades to the campground and maintenance areas. The scope of work includes replacing two shower houses—at Nutbush and JC Cooper campgrounds—constructing a new full-service auto repair maintenance building with associated storage and parking, installing three new septic systems, upgrading existing RV campsite electrical services to 100-amp capacity, and making general campsite improvements.
