Full Description

The Social Security Administration (SSA) intends to negotiate a sole source acquisition with Canon U.S.A. Inc., 2110 Washington Blvd. STE 300, Arlington, VA 22204-5710 for supplies and service related to additional equipment for Canon Image PRESS 7000 accessories. Equipment required: Perfect Binder for Image PRESS 7000 and installation, DADF-R1, Color Image Reader 141, Canon Punch Unit and Document feeder, and installation for Document Feeder and Color Image reader. The equipment MUST meet the following requirements: 1. All items must be fully compatible with the Canon Image PRESS 7000. 2. All items must be covered under Canon's warranty for the Canon Image PRESS 7000. 3. All items must be properly installed into the current Canon PRESS 7000 machines without voiding SSA's current Canon warranty on existing machines. Capability statements in response to this notice shall provide sufficient information for SSA to determine that a firm other than Canon Corporation can provide the equipment and services as described above. If SSA does not receive a response to this announcement within 2 days of its publication, it will proceed as stated herein.
