Full Description

The Contracting Center of Excellence (CCE), on behalf of the Department of Defense, Office of the Inspector General (DoD, OIG), Office of Administration & Management, Information Systems Directorate, intends to award a sole source contract to immixGroup, Inc., 8444 Westpark Dr., Ste. 200, McLean, VA 22102 pursuant to FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements, under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). The DOD, OIG seeks to procure Secure Computing Webwasher Appliances. The immixGroup is the sole federal distributor for all Secure Computing products. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 423430 with a small business size standard of 100 employees. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement within the seven (7) days of this announcements posting date of 28 August 2008. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon any responses to this notice is solely at the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government in future procurements.
