The Department of Defense, through the NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center San Diego, intends to award a sole source contract to Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics (SGPPL), the original equipment manufacturer, for the direct replacement and installation of radome inflation system components on the existing Space to Ground Link System (SGLS) Radome. The contract will be awarded without competitive solicitation, but the government invites interested parties to express their interest and submit product information by August 8, 2018, for consideration in determining whether to proceed competitively. The decision to exclude competition remains at the government's discretion, with notifications and solicitation documentation following FAR 6.302-1 guidelines.
