Full Description

The Naval Oceanographic Office (NAVOCEANO) Contracting Department at Stennis Space Center, MS 39522, hereby formally announces the intent to award a firm-fixed price Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity contract with a five-year ordering period on a sole source basis under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1 to AML Oceanographic. The contractor will be required to provide calibration and repair services of sensors, housings, and equipment required to make the Moving Vessel Profile and Sea Surface Sound Velocimeter systems operate and to support mission accuracy on the survey vessels. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals; however, all interested persons that identify to the Contracting Officer their intent and capabilities to satisfy the Government’s requirement within five calendar days of this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
