The United States Government is considering the renewal of a lease for 78,194 rentable square feet of office and related space at 2150 Parklake Dr NE, Atlanta, GA, which encompasses 67,966 ANSI-BOMA office area square feet. The proposed renewal term would extend for five years from December 24, 2026, through December 23, 2031. The government is soliciting information from vendors who have available existing or suitable office space within a specified geographic area of Atlanta, bounded by I-285 to the north and east, I-75 to the west, and the corridor running from Ponce de Leon Avenue to Moreland Avenue to Memorial Drive on the south. This inquiry will assist the government in conducting a cost-benefit analysis to decide whether to remain at the current location under a sole source justification or compete the lease requirement based on available alternatives. In evaluating options, the government will weigh factors such as the availability of appropriate alternative spaces, as well as the expenses associated with relocation, including moving costs, replication of tenant improvements, telecommunications infrastructure setup, and potential employee productivity losses during transition. Responses to this presolicitation must be submitted by May 22, 2026. The lease renewal is managed by the General Services Administration's PBS Office of Leasing, with primary contacts available to provide further information. This process aims to ensure the government secures office space that meets its operational requirements while balancing fiscal prudence and minimizing disruptions.
